Based on traditional Tibetan healing practices, and suitable for all ages and fitness levels, Kum Nye’s movement and breathing exercises restore the body’s natural rhythms and calm the mind, making it a very effective gateway, and support to meditation practice.

We all experience unwanted circumstances at some point in our lives. Through the practice of mindfulness and meditation we come to know our own mind and learn to be at ease with whatever we encounter. We can also learn to embrace change and challenges with compassion, both for ourselves and for others. When we contemplate on how everything is constantly changing we can experience a lot more ease in our lives, and can even learn to maintain a state of well-being when life becomes more difficult.  This day will introduce skilful ways of applying mindfulness and meditation in our daily lives, assisting us in developing emotional balance and resilience, and helping us to embrace these changes and challenges.

Susan Browne has over 25 years experience of meditation, contemplation and compassion practices. She has been guiding groups and individuals at Dzogchen Beara Retreat Centre in Ireland and at the Institute of Wisdom and Compassion, France for more than 20 years.  www.restyourmind.ie
